From intake to call in three steps
Answer the intake
Tell us your turnover, structure, current setup, and what's prompted you to get in touch. Nothing sensitive.
We review and respond
The team reviews your submission and comes back — either with a proposed meeting time or with a direct email answer if that's more useful. Whichever suits.
Chartered advice, delivered
Either a 20-minute call to talk through your situation and next steps, or a written reply to your question — clear direction on where OD Accountants fits, or where you'd be better placed.
Why SMEs choose OD Accountants
“I've been there for years and Niall and his team go above and beyond the duties to provide accounting services but also general advice. They are always available if you need anything while charging very competitive prices. I could not recommend them enough.”
Common questions
Why an intake form instead of just booking a slot?
So the team can prep for the call and, more importantly, so we can decide whether a call is the right next step at all. If your query has a quick answer — not a 20-minute conversation — we'll email you directly instead of putting you in a slot that didn't need to be one.
What will we actually talk about on the call?
Your business, your current setup, what's working and what isn't. We'll have your intake in front of us, so the call skips straight to the useful bit — the firm's view of what OD would recommend. There's no agenda beyond that.
What if my books are behind or a bit of a mess?
One of the most common reasons people get in touch. Backlog, late filings, an HMRC letter, a previous accountant who dropped the ball — the firm has handled all of it and won't make you feel bad about it. Be honest in the intake; that's what it's for.
Do I have to commit to anything after the call?
No. The call is free and there's no obligation. If it feels like a good fit, we'll outline how working together would work and what it'd cost — fixed monthly fees, agreed upfront. If it's not right, we'll say so and point you in the right direction. There's no chasing afterwards.
Are you the right fit for a smaller business?
OD Accountants works with businesses from early-stage sole traders through to established SMEs and mid-market limited companies. The intake helps the team gauge whether the level of chartered management support we offer fits where you are now — and if it doesn't, we'll say so honestly and point you somewhere that does.
Where are you based — can we work together remotely?
Two offices — Suite 310, The Pillbox in Bethnal Green (London) and Mendip Court in Wells, Somerset — but the practice is cloud-first (Xero-native) and most client relationships are delivered remotely. Wherever you are in the UK, distance isn't a barrier.
