My current payroll records are not in great shape. Is that a problem?
It is common, and not a barrier to switching. A catch-up review is carried out at the start of the engagement to identify any gaps or inconsistencies — underpaid pension contributions, incorrect tax codes or missing RTI submissions. Where historical corrections are required, the work is scoped and quoted separately so you know the cost upfront before anything is filed.
Is there a minimum contract length?
No. There is no minimum term. If the arrangement is not working, you give a month's notice and leave with your payroll data exported and all records up to date. OD Accountants does not charge exit fees or withhold files.
