If there are outstanding RTI submissions or PAYE discrepancies, those are identified during the initial review and resolved before the first live pay run goes out. The state of the current records does not prevent you from switching — it just informs how onboarding is structured.

Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?+

No long-term contract. Payroll engagements run month to month. If the service is not working after the first few pay cycles, you are free to leave with clean payroll records and all your data exported. The expectation is that you stay because the service is good, not because leaving is awkward.

Do you handle auto-enrolment for a pension scheme we have already set up?+

Yes. If you already have a workplace pension in place — NEST, The People's Pension, Aviva or otherwise — contributions are calculated against the current scheme rules and submitted to the provider each pay period. Re-enrolment cycles are tracked so that the triennial duty does not catch you out. If you need to set up a scheme for the first time, that is also handled as part of onboarding.

How far in advance will we know the PAYE liability for each period?+

Payroll figures are confirmed before the pay run is processed, so the PAYE liability is visible before the payment date rather than after. That means the bank transfer to HMRC is planned, not reactive. For director-shareholders, the interaction between salary, dividends and the annual PAYE settlement is reviewed as part of the wider tax picture — not treated as a separate payroll-only calculation.
